Zhenjiang Station

Zhenjiang Railway Station, located on Zhongshan West Road, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang City, was built in 1906 (the 32nd year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty). It is adjacent to Zhenjiang Bus Station and is a station on the Shanghai-Nanjing Railway. It is under the jurisdiction of the Shanghai Railway Bureau and is a first-class railway station handling passenger and freight transportation.

Zhenjiang Station opened high-speed rail services on July 1, 2010, bringing the Zhenjiang area into the high-speed rail era. The railways passing through include the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity High-speed Railway, the Shanghai-Hanzhong-Chongqing Railway, the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, and the Lianyungang-Huai'an-Yangzhou-Zhenjiang Railway.

Zhenjiang Station is the connecting station of the Lianyungang-Huai'an-Yangzhou-Zhenjiang Railway to Nanjing and Wuhan, completed and opened in 2019. It also shortens the time and distance between Zhenjiang and the Lianyungang and Huai'an-Yangzhou areas.
