Jiayuguan South Station
Jiayuguan South Railway Station is a railway station in Gansu Province along the Lanzhou-Xinjiang High-Speed Railway. It is a medium-sized railway passenger station located in Hekou Village, north of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway, with a building area of 11,787 square meters. Construction of the station began in May 2013, and it opened for operation on December 26, 2014. It is 8.1 kilometers from the city center and about 22 kilometers from Jiayuguan Airport.
The newly built second double-track Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway Jiayuguan South Station is located in Group 3, Hekou Village, Wenshu Town (north of the existing Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway). The total design building area is 47,157 square meters, including a station building area of 11,787 square meters. The planned passenger volume is 3.5 million passengers per year and 9,600 passengers per day in the near term; and 4.5 million passengers per year and 12,300 passengers per day in the long term, with a peak hourly passenger flow of 2,000 people.
