Tianjin Dagang Wind Power Plant

Tianjin Dagang Power Plant is located in Binhai New Area (Dagang), Tianjin. It has a total installed capacity of 1314 MW. The first phase of the project started in December 1974, with the installation of two 328.5MW Italian oil-fired generating units (No. 1 and 2). In October 2001, the first phase units underwent large-scale coal conversion, a project listed as a national key technological transformation project, and was completed and put into operation in May 2005. The second phase of the project started in 1988 and was a key project of the country's Seventh Five-Year Plan. All four units of the plant use seawater for cooling.

In the more than 30 years since its establishment, Dagang Power Plant has driven enterprise development through technological and management innovation, striving to continuously advance towards the advanced levels at home and abroad. Units 3 and 4 have won excellent awards multiple times in the national comprehensive competition and assessment of 300MW large units, and the enterprise has also maintained the honor of being a "civilized unit" in Tianjin and the China Shenhua Energy Company for many years.
