I. Product Introduction

  High-strength geogrid made of steel-plastic composite material is made by using high-strength steel wire (or other fibers) after special treatment, combined with polyethylene (PE), and adding other additives. Through extrusion, it becomes a composite high-strength tensile strip with a rough embossed surface, which is a high-strength reinforced geotextile. From this single strip, it is woven or combined and arranged at a certain interval longitudinally and transversely, and its joints are welded using a special reinforced bonding and welding technology to form a reinforced geogrid.

II. Product Features

  1. High strength, small deformation;

  2. Small creep;

  3. Corrosion resistance, long lifespan: Steel-plastic geogrids use plastic materials as a protective layer, and with the addition of various additives, they have anti-aging and oxidation properties and can resist corrosion in harsh environments such as acids, alkalis, and salts. Therefore, steel-plastic geogrids can meet the needs of various permanent projects for more than 100 years, with superior performance and good size stability.

  4. Convenient and fast construction, short cycle, low cost: Steel-plastic geogrids are easy to lay, overlap, and position, and are flat, avoiding overlapping and crossing, which can effectively shorten the construction period and save 10% to 50% of the engineering cost.

III. Product Applications

  Mainly used in the fields of road, railway, bridge abutments, ramps, wharves, revetments, dams, and landfills for soft ground reinforcement, retaining walls, and road anti-cracking projects.
