Reflections on working overseas

A year is short, yet the image of my first day on the job is still vivid in my mind, as if it happened yesterday; a year is long, having worked and learned on projects in seven overseas countries, experiencing the local cultures and customs of seven countries, and leaving footprints in eleven international airports overseas......Along the way, the naivety and anxieties instilled by nearly twenty years of "ivory tower" life have gradually subsided. As I diligently record my learning and work experiences, I also enjoy my own transformation. I am truly grateful and deeply honored.

The most impressive experience was the thermal calculation of large-volume concrete. As a complete beginner, I consulted many national standards and inquired about many equipment parameters, thereby providing the project with a table of automatically generated concrete temperatures at different ages and different mix ratios under the project's environmental conditions. Here, I learned new and useful knowledge, felt my own intellectual growth, growth in interpersonal communication, and growth in independently solving problems.
