Bolivia's average elevation exceeds3000meters, making it the highest plateau country in the world. Cochabamba Province, located in the center of the country, is Bolivia's national energy center, and the Ivirizu Hydroelectric Power Station will play a very important role in the construction of the entire energy center.

The Ivirizu Hydroelectric Power Station project is located in the Ivirizu River upstream National Forest Park in Carasco City, approximately118kilometers from Cochabamba City, with a total installed capacity of nearly28megawatts. The main structural buildings include water retaining, water discharge, and diversion structures, as well as permanent roads. After completion, the project will ensure700tens of thousands of people's electricity needs in the region and benefit surrounding areas. It can also export energy to neighboring countries such as Brazil and Argentina, marking the first time Bolivia will export electricity and fully promoting Bolivia's "national plan" to build a "South American energy center".
