The La Paz Water Plant Project
The La Paz Water Plant project is located in Batallas, Pucarani, and El Alto in La Paz Province, Bolivia. The construction period is 33 months. The project consists of seven parts: a gravity dam, an earth dam, an irrigation area, a catchment chamber, a water treatment plant, connecting sections, and channel repair. The project has an average altitude of 4200 meters, with a large daily temperature difference and consistently low temperatures. The main tasks of the project are water supply and irrigation. Upon completion, it will effectively solve the local water shortage problem, improve the regional ecological environment, alleviate the shortage of water for urban life, ecology, industry, and agriculture and animal husbandry, and create conditions for increased production and income for residents.
